Ross is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He holds a RICS Diploma in Surveying Practice and a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading. Ross became a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2012.
Ross began his career with A Edwin Bryant + Associates before joining Hills when the two practices merged in 2007. He was appointed Director in 2025 and is responsible for overseeing the Cornwall office playing a key role in managing a wide range of projects.
With a strong background in quantity surveying, Ross combines technical expertise with practical delivery skills, particularly in his role as Employer’s Agent. He has extensive experience across education, housing, refurbishment, and commercial developments, and has successfully delivered numerous social housing schemes for Housing Associations. His portfolio includes large-scale residential developments on brownfield and regeneration sites, joint venture housing projects, and complex mixed schemes, where his strengths in cost planning, financial control, and claims management consistently add value for clients.
When not working Ross spends his time following any kind of sport, playing five-a-side football and running around after his children.
