The building was constructed at the perimeter of a landfill site. Foundations and substructure design incorporated ground stabilisation and methane ventilation and barriers. A specialised rainwater harvesting and regeneration system was designed to provide the facility to collect filtered rainwater and recycled rinse water for the factory to use in their manufacturing processes.
