Bridgwater College

Hills have been working with Bridgwater College since 1996 on their campus development programme. Our involvement has evolved from traditional QS services providing Bills of Quantity and post-contract financial management in the early stages to a full project management service in the later stages.

Current schemes we are working on include:

Advanced Engineering Centre: A new two-story building for the teaching of engineering students. The construction will be via a two-stage Design & Build contract. The anticipated construction budget for the project including external works and infrastructure services is £4.4m

National College for Nuclear (South): A new two-storey National College building to house a virtual reality training suite, approximately 15 teaching rooms, a staff room and associated support facilities. It is anticpated that the building will be approximately 2,200m2 with an construction cost of approximately £10m

Energy Skills Centre:
Construction of specialist laboratory and classroom facility. Value £7.8m
Construction Trades Workshop:
Workshops for teaching of construction trades. Value £1.4m
